Quick question of projectors

My friend is looking to install TL HID projectors on his bike, and he has accidently bought these from an ebay user. He made an offer for 100 bucks, and thought if they seller accepted, that he'd still have the option to either buy or not buy. Anywho, he is wondering if these are fake or not. I couldnt tell. I was hoping someone could help a bit, as he can still probably message the guy and say he doesnt want them.

Thanks in advance.

I know a lot of people have taken apart their headlights, can anyone tell me if these are actually oem projectors. In the ad he says their for a 03-07 and the title has the words retrofit in them. So I am not sure if they are oem or not.

They look legit to me. They didn't make TL projectors in 03 though, I know that for a fact. the earlier projectors have a step cut off, I believe in 04 only don't quote me on that and the later ones have a slope cut off. That seems like a very good deal for a PAIR of TL projectors though. I wonder if their is any bowl defects?
This is what an OEM pair of TL projectors look like.

Look right to me. He should have used TSX or S2K projectors though. The cutoff is sharper, and the projectors are a bit smaller. They're quite popular in the retrofit world.

I would honestly tell you you to go with FX projectors with a clear lens. FX-R clear. They are pretty comparable with the TL projectors, but the FX's are quite a bit smaller.
