This is my first post. Please help. I have 3 questions about my upcoming purchase of a 2007 TL Type S


1) Does Acura make a full Aspec kit ( complete underbody spoilers, suspension, and tire wheel) or just full underbody spoilers


2) Where can I go on the web to locate and purchase cat-back exhaust, lighting upgrades for the fog light and daytime running lights.


3) Tire recommendation to go on the 18” brilliant chrome Ron Jon Inspyre (I do drive a lot in my sales job)

I don't own the Type S model but to ansewer your first question. Yes Acura does make a full A-Spec Kit. Or Atleast from I got from Buid your own on Acura.com

 

Any websites, info, and or opinions would truly be appreciated.

The exhaust on the type S is a hi flow system, there is no need to upgrade, the body kit is new for the 07 but the shocks are the same as 06 , the type S handles as well as the Aspec and is a little softer ( I had both) so the shocks are not really neccessary

 

I would recommend you buy most of your accessories online and install them yourself if possible. You'll save yourself a lot of money avoiding the dealership.

O.K. Maybe I could please get some help finding websites that you guys are currently using for the following items:


Cat back exhaust systems

Cold air induction

Changing out daytime running and fog light bulbs to produce a brighter/ white light

Purchasing replacement license plate bulb to also produce a brighter white similar to what Lexus is using

Where to purchase clear lights for turn signals to replace the amber used by factory.



Any help would truly be appreciated as would any websites that specialize items for TLs

I have a Type S and got the resonator and the stock Quad mufflers replaced with Magnaflows, but I had them put the stock tips back on. Replaced the fog light bulbs. I am working on a relay harness to be able to disconnect the DRL and be able to use them as a second set of fog lights. I used a generic cone filter to make a short ram air intake. Replaced all white light bulbs with LED's inside and out.
