Question Question for WDP Owners

I have a NBP TL, and the scratches/swirls show up something awful. How badly do the scratches/swirls show up on your cars?

I ask this because i am thinking about trading for a different color TL, and the first choice at this point is white.

Thanks in advance!

As a general rule, light coloured cars usually hide scratches and swirls much better than dark coloured ones. A black car is the worst at hiding them; it actually magnifies them. The WDP TL is no exception. This car is MUCH MUCH easier to maintain than any other cars I've owned before (black, dark green).

The color is easy to maintain but when it comes to repainting your WDP. It is very hard to match the color. My TL has 3 types of white right now and I am thinkin about repainting the whole car. Repaint NBP will be easier to match than repainting WDP.

No swirls showing at all. Plus the car never seems too look terribly dirty. It would be tough for me to own another color ever again

WDP is a great color for hiding scratches. We've got two different model pearl white cars and they are great.

Only downside......Acura still can't get the bumpers to match the body on WDP!!!

WDP get scratches too. They are just hard to see. Car appears cleaner than a dark color.

But a dark color REALLY pops when it's clean and polished.

If I were you I would have three choices. WDP, KBP or RBP. Trust me out of all the colors these are the best ones and the ones that look the best also. I chose to get a KBP cause it looks oh so good, love the candy paint. Go to a dealer during the day and ask to see a KBP or RBP under the sun and you will see what im talking about. But if your looking to get a color thats easy to maintain ei. then WDP would be your best choice.

the car i was prospected to buy (NBP) has many swirl marks, is this completely normal, or is it a sign of unusual wear and tear? don't mean to hijack your thread, just figured i'd ask in a similar topic forum.

I have a black car, my girlfriend does, my mom, my dad, my brother and my brothers girlfriend ALL have black cars, swirls are noticeable but i think black looks the best shined. my sister and her husband and all of my dad's work trucks on the other hand are all white and those NEVER look dirty, if this is a problem for you (it isnt for me) id go WDP, it's a sexy color too!!

As long there is no damage to the clearcoat, the car can easily be brought back to showroom quality shine with good detailing.

clay + polish + wax
