Question Using a BlueTooth Phone

So, I was calling a few numbers using the BlueTooth feature in my TL...some telephone numbers require you to enter some information from the phone's keypad...is there a way that i can enter it through the navi screen? like for example, i called up tmobile customer care through the car and it was asking me to put the last four digits of my Social Security number and i couldn't do it through the car...i had to go back to my phone to do that...i tried switching the navi screen to AUDIO but that doesn't work...it only gives a picture of the buttons on the steering wheel...is there a way that i can ACCESS A KEYPAD through the navi so i don't have to use my phone?

I think you can hit the "talk" button on the steering wheel, and just say the numbers that you want it to send, and then follow the prompts.

i am not sure if that will work...becuase usually it's done through the "clicks" of each button...each button on the phone has a distint "click/beep" to it...so that's how the receiving end can determine the numbers that you press...but i will give it a try tomorrow and see if that works...thanks..

I just went to the car and did it. I called my voice mail at work, waited for the prompt. Pressed the talk button, said my extension. The system prompted for "Send" or more numbers. Unfortunately, it kept confusing "Send" with "Seven".

When it did properly recognize "Send", I heard it send the DTMF tones corresponding to the numbers I had stated.

They need to find a different verb!
