Question regarding tinted windows
I just got my windows tinted 30% all around with 3M non-metallic film. Looks very nice.. I like it
Now, I have a question to ask to those who have their windows tinted.
I was driving at night, I looked at my back-mirror to see the cars behind me, then I noticed the headlights from other cars looked blurred through the rear window. Not only they look blurred, they have some sort of reflections of each of those stripes (those wires for defogging). I'm wondering whether this is expected to see from tinted rear windows or it's due to improper installation of the film.

i had the same exact issue when i first tinted my windows and i posted the same question here.
at first it would be blurry but after a while it will go away, as of the light reflection of those heated straps that is going to be there forever. you will get used to it in a bit, just like i did.

i'm trying to see if it's normal issue over all tints or just a film issue or my installer did a poor job...

It's normal issue with all tints. I noticed the same thing like everyone else here when my car was first tinted. It won't be as bad once it cures.

I agree with everyone here. The film and glue need to settle and then things will clear up. You will get the same effect after a long time with the Tint, which means the Tint is degrading and needs replacement.

OP: In my experience with tints, that goes away after awhile. I haven't done this present TL, but I did the previous one.
