Honda extends fuel-relay recall to 300,000 Japan vehicles
11:53a ET March 22, 2007 (Marketwatch) SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Honda Motor Co. is recalling over 298,000 vehicles across 13 models in Japan, a spokesman said Thursday, part of a recall that affects 166,000 2005 and 2006 U.S. vehicles. The Japanese automaker had received information from dealers that a faulty electronic relay thats connect to the fuel pump were causing vehicles to stall or preventing them from starting. By the first week of April, Honda will have sent notices to U.S. owners of certain Accord, Ridgeline, Odyssey and Acura TL, RL and TSX models, said Honda spokesman Sage Marie. The recall also affects certain models in Canada and China. He said the company is not aware of any injury or deaths associated with the problem part.

so it only affects those vehicles? my 04 should be fine?

 

you can bring it in to dealer and ask them to take it look.

But you will not be cover under the recall.
