I bought my new TLS yesterday and they only gave me the driver 2 key and a regular key. I was wondering if there is anyway to make it say welcome driver 1 when i get in? or would i have to buy a new key at Acura and if so how much do they run?

 

it should come with three keys drvr 1, drvr 2 and valet key go back to where you bought your car and tell them to give you that missing key if they dont have it they must order you one NO EXCEPTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to make the appearance say drvr1 you must link the memmo to the drvr 1 key read your owner manual book it's pretty simple and easy to do... good luck !

 

I bought it from carmax and their policy was 2 keys... they gave me one with all the buttons and then just one key.

 

The car comes with a Driver 1, Driver 2 and valet keys. Unless they lost Key1 or the last owner didn't give it to them.

 

damn...i got my TL a year ago and i didn't get a valet key. Is it too late?

 

^^^It shouldn't be...they should have also given you a small Key Code fob, which has your key code number on it. Any dealership should be able to order you a Valet Key.

 

Thanks Steven...im give my dealership a call during my lunch break and ill see what happens. Key code fob? would that be in the glove compartment with my manual?
