I did a search and couldnt find much about the automatic door locks when the car hits 10mph.

Anyone know how to disable the auto lock feature so that I dont have to manually hit the unlock button to get out of my car??

 

It will unlock when u put the car in park, if not u will have to use the unlock button..I am not sure if u can change this from the MID

 

Look in the MID. You can set the locks to unlock when you turn off the car. That's how mine works, anyway. I cannot tell you for certain exactly what the MID says on the screen in question because I set it that way two years ago when I got the car and haven't futzed with it since, but I think it's under the "Keyless Entry" options (after the trip computer—go to the "Keyless Entry" screen and hit the select button).

Alternatively, you could disable the auto locking and unlocking altogether, but leaving your doors unlocked at all times when driving is a bad idea.

I have a 6MT so putting it in park doesnt work. Thanks though.

 

It's in the MID. I've got a 6MT and it unlocks only when I turn off the engine. My wife hates the feature.

 

Me too. I figured that anyone who writes a post with stuff like "u" wouldn't be able to understand that, though

 

with the ignition in the number 2 place, go in the mid scroll until you see keyless memory settings. You can change the settings for the locks, the car beeping when locking and other things.
