Quad Exhaust Tip Feeler

Just wanted to gauge how much potential interest there is for quad tips? This would be for the people who don't want an aftermarket exhaust, and have the stock setup, or the resonator delete.

Also, please post what you would feel a reasonable price is. It would be custom made, to fit the stock, or a-spec rear bumper.

i am interested! would definitely get one if it fits well with the A-spec kit.

So this is just the tip to be fitted on the stock muffler?

I'd be interested. Show a mock up of how it would look. I dont think the ghl exhaust is going anywhere so I'll have to look elsewhere.

It's still in the pre-planning arena right now, but I will try to get some rough pictures of the actual product.

As far as right now, I can tell you it will be Stainless steel, 2 dual rounds 2.5" on each side. It will have a staggered fitment, to follow the exact contour of the stock body trim. It will be double walled, but not the ricey double walled look. Much more like the stock amg style. It was have a tiny slanted edge, to blend in a bit with the curve of the rear bumper.

Let me know if you guys have any personal feedback.

The tips will look very similar to these tips, but they will sit flush with the bumper, and won't stick out as much as these.

aznbo187 has run this through Astroboy and has received permission to run this feeler thread. If there is enough interest, we might get a new vendor in AZ.

Just so I can be perfectly clear on this - You are designing the tips based on the OEM muffler location, correct?

Sounds Good! Been thinking about this mod for a while and couldn't find any dual tips that would sit flush with the bumper.

I just read a report on the 2007 TL-Type S and it comes with the quad tips as standard.

If you can get it to look like the Type-S tips, I'd be in for putting them onto a custom system!

Talking

I'm definitely in, for the A-Spec version. I think it would be cool and different to have quad quared ones, though. To go along with the shape of the openning. Either way, I'm down.

The tips should be able to fit both, only difference is you won't need to cut as much of the stock tip pipping so that way it will sit flush with the bumper.
