Just purchased one with Nav, splash guards and wheel locks (Not many 2004s left in stock). I will pick it up on Tuesday so I will be part of Team Anthracite then .

Anyone else purchase this combination of colors and if so how have people reacted to it?

With the stop and go traffic in NY I decided on the AT.

 

I have the same color combo but without the navi, 6mt, but I felt that $2000 for a (IMO) toy could be better spent.

When I first heard about the color combo I thought it'd be ugly too - but in reality it's really nice!

 

I almost bought a NBP/camel/navi because of the color combo. Instead I purchased NBP w/ ebony because the camel leather would probably "look" orange after awhile of owning the car. Don't get me wrong, this is a good combo, but down the road the camel leather wouldn't be that appealing to me.

Congrats on the new ride. I saw an Anthracite/Camel with chrome wheels yesterday, and I didn't care for it. But, it's your ride man so as long as you like who cares what I think. Enjoy it!

The Camel is very classy. Same as the BMW, Porsche, and Mercedes natural leather against gunmetal. Yum.

I was torn between AM with that blue-gray interior versus the camel. I choose the camel primarily because the car had 6MT with Nav. At first the combo looks a little unconnected but I love it now; very handsome combination. Wise choice.

I have owned the car since mid july and love it. If I could tweak the car it would be: less tire noise with HPT; switch to sirius from xm; better gas mileage; and louder stereo ( i find myself having to turn up volume on comedy stations--cds play loud, though).

anywho great combo, just like mine, except no nav (wish i had it), and manual (which is giving me problems).

 

i have this combination (anthracite/camel/6mt/navi). and most poeple say that it's "very german." Apparently, BMW and Audi have done this combo for years. Either way, I don't care. it was my fav so i got it.

 

Exactly! It amazes me how many people come to this website to ask total strangers their opinions of the colors. "Help me choose!" some of the threads proclaim. Too funny.

Those of us who love the Camel interior couldn't give a rat's ass what other people think of it. The fact I get lots of compliments is a nice bonus, but I chose the colors I chose because I liked them.

OK, well, the spouse liked them, too. That's one person whose opinion DOES matter, sometimes more than my own.
