pulling the trigger?

2006 TL NAVI
NBP, black interior, 60,000 mi for 16K
orig. wanted 18,500
had it listed today for 16,900
talked down to 16.
looks good inside and out, drives right,
only a few cosmetic scratches on the outside but just looks like a wax will take care of.
The hood did seem like it was maybe a lil sunbaked once the sun went down. Previous texas car with clean carfax and all maintenance in glove box

Thoughts?

Hmmm...wait to see the paint in all different lights and have it inspected. It's a good price for a 4 year old car.

Are you into the type s?

That's an awesome price! In regards to the hood - nothing some Zaino can't take care of. Is it a stick or auto?

kinda worried about the hood, wasn't sure if it was the lighting at the time, but it was a texas car so i can only assume it saw a lot of sun

That sounds like a good deal. I bought an 06 AM with ebony interior, navi, spoiler, tinted windows and truck mat for $19k about a month ago. It had 58k miles.

hmmm didn't realize an '06 was worth that much. For a depreciating asset, these are holding their value.

Pull the trigger (like the title of your thread) and ask the dealership to buff out the paint imperfections.

Even if it is a lot of sun, it's a minor flaw which can probably be taken care of rather easily. If anything, I would be more concerned with the powertrain as repairs relating to that can be pricey.

went back today, they detailed for me and it looked great.
im in the chicago area and to get the same car/miles/navi is pushing 20K still. they orig wanted 18.5 so i am happy with the deal.
i felt like i won when the gm wouldn't talk to me because his superior for the area made the call to drop to my price.
stoked
