Roger, is it possible to get more info on where you purchased the dimmer & switch you put in the "nook" of the driver side door? Your install is awesome, and I am looking to do this soon. I had originally planned to just do a direct tap so that the footwell lights came on with the parking lights and stayed on but I think the value add by having the ability to dim/switch on-off will be tremendous! Shoot, if you could break the directions down barney style for us non-electricians it would help me a ton! I appreciate it!
