05 6MT w/ Navi; WDP. Say roughly 25,000 miles - is $25k-26k a good price?

Price is OK but why jump now if you're not ready financially? Carmax offered my $24K for mine with 32K miles last month.

As we approach the end of the model year, your getting close to the price of a new one. Niello has been dealing hard especially at the end of the month.

My '05 SSM 5AT with navigation that had 21,500 miles on it was around $27,000 so I'd say that the price they're offering you is pretty fair.

Unless I have my friend get me one from the auction i'll probably end up going with Niello since I know people who know people who know people.

I'm thinking $5k down will be sufficient for an 05; i'm just trying to keep the payment under the $500 range a month. The other concern is my current car; what's it worth on trade, if they offer me too little then having a down payment will be usless since i'll be eating the cost of paying off my current car.

I didn't 'know' anybody. Got my friend a great deal through the internet department a few weeks ago. Everything including the 3.9% loan was done via internet. We drove up, he test drove and inspected, did the paperwork and drove home. Very above board and straightforward, no games. Even after the deal, got a few emails at the end of month offering better savings fyi.

Trade-in, check Carmax for a base. They paid my friend Edmunds 'Good' value on his TSX. Of course the dealer said they may have done better.

honestly why not just buy a brand new TL for 1 or 2k more (peace of mind is worth the extra buck)... you live in Cali, there are tons of Acura dealers desperate to unload their mass produced Accord I mean Luxury TL
