Plastic Door Handle Cover

Anyone ever have to replace the plastic cover on the far left side of the handle. I was waxing the car recently trying to get into that area and mine snapped off. I can put it back on, but the clip is broken. Need to call the dealer for the part. Anyone else do this before and curious what the part costs.

Lots of people replace the door lock cover on the drivers side.

You don't specify front or rear, so here's links for both.

http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...s=&view=normal - Rear. Either item 8 & 11 or 22 & 33 (depends driver or pass side). Be sure to specify the color correct part number.

http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...s=&view=normal - Front. Either item 16 & 25 or 28 & 32 (depends driver or pass side). Be sure to specify the color correct part number.

The small cover comes with both the "base" and the cover - sound like you only need to replace the cover though.

My rear p/s cover just came off one day lol. The dealer replaced it free of charge.

Oops, sorry.

If I Recall Correctly

I picked this and a few other up on the Golf Forum I frequent. Here's a reference I've had to use from time-to-time: http://www.netlingo.com/

And I do Recall Correctly ( ) - here's the link to the TSB:
