Pic of damage to TL rear bumper
As promised, here are a couple of pics of the damage that was caused to my rear bumper. You can't see it in the pics, but the indentation runs about as far down as the red circles in the second bigger picture. very hard to see unless you're right up on it.
Do you guys think that this is worth $700 to replace and repaint?

WOW...you have marks similar but worse to the marks I've got in my bumper. It was probably caused by my garage door hitting the bumper when I lowered the door and didn't have the car in far enough. I solved that problem, but I'm still trying to decide if it's worth the money to change the bumper. My insurance will pay, but I've got $500 deductable so it's a lot of money for a few small dents. My paint isn't scratched very badly, it's just the dents that bug me.

My paint isn't scratched either and in fact, the clearcoat is still intact as well. Wasn't caused by a garage door though, it was caused becuase some guy in his ford truck had parked the hood of his truck in my parking space.
That long horizontal line on the bumper is not a sratch, its just a reflection. Other than the two indentations I have circled, the bumper is in perfect condition.

Go to your Acura dealer and ask them to put you in contact with the guy/company that fixes bumper scrapes and paint problems for them. Typically these guys come to the lot once a week a fix any small paint problems, like the one you have.
My Odyssey cover was much worse, garge door hit it several times and a person backed into it. I was able to hide most the scrapes with bumper stickers, but it started to look very Kentucky and decided to get it repaired. They did a fantastic job and it only cost $100. Check it out and get it done as it usually takes less than a day to repair.
The company that repaired my cover even offered to let me use the company vehicle while my car was being repaired.

you can barely see those marks, don't waste 700 bucks for something so small that is probably gonna happen again. scratches and dings on bumpers are gonna happen. it's inevitable when you park your car. just have to learn to accept it.

IMO..$6 touch up paint should do the trick..not worth to spent ~$900

One on the right for me
thats not bad at all, leave it like that. someone hit my rear bumper at the drive through and poked a hole in it with their license plate screw...i was going to fix it b/c i got the money from his insurance but the next day someone else put a scrape in the bumper...now i figure unless it gets to the point where its just plain ugly to have all the scrathes and shit on there its not worth fixing it again and running the risk of someone hitting it and then running from it.

Wait a little while until it is more dinged up. In the mean time try to get some nice touch up paint. If you have 700 for a scratch on a bumper go with a nice spoiler and get some lighted sills. Unless the bumper is in horrible condition wait for someone else to rear end you so it can be charged to there insurance.

My bumper looks worse than yours. Definitely NOT worth $700 to fix.

i don't know how parking is there or how long you've had your car, but the paint on these bumpers suck. It is really easy to get nicks, dents, and scrapes. If anything, i would DEF. wait till something worse happens, cuz if you live in a city i'm sure it will.

Friend A had my car hit the the low obstacle; friend B had caused the exactly same indentations as yours. Dozens of minor damages in my rear bumper. Well, in where I live now, I'll say "not worth fixing it"...
