My dog, Molly (7lb maltese) rides in the front in her own car seat. The airbag light goes on and off, depending if she's sitting or sleeping. She's a clean dog and doesn't shed. I wipe her feet before she gets in. Plus with black leather I really don't care. If I only knew how to post a picture I would.

Do you take your"pets" in the TL or have a second vehicle to take him/ her for rides , vets, etc..
Sounds just like me except.....
Ody has cloth seats, and we still put a towel over whatever seat she rides on. (the dog not the wife)

I keep my car clean. You'd never know a bitch stepped in my TL-S.

My baby riding with me last spring to the park which she loves to go and enjoy the time. I have pretty good OCD when it comes to keep things really clean, my dog walks outside gets her feet dirty so I clean them off before she gets into my car or in our home. 3x a week she gets a shower, and yes I treat her like a person, she brings joy into our lives.

We own two Yorkies. Our male is 10lbs and our female is 2.75lbs. (teacup). They do not shed and we bathe them once a week or so. They are great in the car and love to travel. Actually, they will be going to Orlando with us this Friday.

Its because dogs can sense evil. So a dog under his care would most likely attack him.
I let my friend bring his dog into my car. Its not like his dog rolls around in dirt. Also, I clean my dog each time i bring him in the house after a walk. I clean his paws and wipe his ass with tissues. To me, my dog is like my son.

not to mention he's a chick magnet for me lol!!!!

My dog rides in the GX470, simply for the reason it would be very difficult to squeeze a 180+ lb. mastiff into the TL.

HOLY CRAP!!!!! A friend of mine has one of those. THe ironic thing is his daughter ( at the time 2 yrs old ) would abuse the hell out of that dog..Yanking on his balls, etc.. Yet, the dog wouldnt care and was VERY protective of her.

My friend ended up neurting him when he tried to mount him.
That was funny.

How lonely are you?

My girl's German Munsterlander gets to ride in my TL. His nails are trimmed so no worry about cutting the leather and the magical invention of a Vacuum in 1901 helps cleanup the little bit of shedding he does. I rather enjoy the company, since he's so interested in the outside world.

Never take my family's dog in my car. However, I am starting to lean towards giving her a ride every now and then. I will just have to put down a towel or something so there are no paw marks or hair everywhere

I've got a dog that loves to shed all over the place.

I picked up click me and haven't been happier. It's much easier to keep the leather protected and hair free.

My little pup will have her first ride in the Cobra tomorrow night when I pick her up. Although never in the TL, she has rode in the wife's TSX quite often.

We have 2 rescue family memebers, a Yorkie and a Shih-Tzu. Whenever we go to the vet or to the dog park, they ride with us in either our TL or Accord Coupe. We use a backseat cover and they have padded doggie seat belt restraint systems. Both cars have leather seats and have never been scratched. Our kids (dogs) are very clean, don't shed, well behaved and probably smarter than ubnpast.

My dog gets to ride with me in the front seat. I always lay down two towels underneath him and I could care less about the car getting dirty during these months. My car will stay clean for a few seconds after a car wash and after that, I just let it get dirty for a week before it goes back to step 1. I'm going to be doing a full detail in the spring so I might get a bit more anal after everything is clean. I wipe his paws and clean him regularly so it's not like he was just rolling around in mud and hops in.

I love dogs, but I don't think I'd let a full grown dog in my car...

People who own dogs live longer than those who don't!

I have a Miniature Pinscher. He's fine in the TL.

I let my dogs ride in the TL and X. They prefer the X since I fold down the middle row for them. My smallest pup figured out how to roll down the windows.

I used to put down a sheet but the leather is so crap in the TL that I don't even bother anymore. The back of the X is carpeted and I have a trunk mat so no issue there.

As much as I love my dog. I would not bring her in the car. Besides tearing up my seats, I would be cleaning up hair for days.
