I've been having problems the last few months and finally chased it down to the PCM. For replacement of the PCM through my dealer it was $940. That includes 15% off labor and parts.

At least they gave me an RDX loaner for free!

Just out of curiosity, what problems were you having?

 

I remember reading a post a while back about someone having PCM problems (misfires, etc.), which was caused by condensation dripping on the PCM from the A/C ducting right above.

 

The transmission would cut out at highway speed and check engine light would come on and go off. Engine remained running as I has power steering and brakes. But tach and speedometer went to zero at highway speed. If I let it set for a minute or two it would start and run again, but then within 10 to 15 miles i would get the same problems over again. It only took them a day to fix it. Problem is, when it goes bad it goes bad and there is no shopping around to get a better price. Condensation from the AC? Sound like he has a hole somewhere.
