Passenger side heated seat switch
Passenger side heated seat switch
So about a week ago I found out that my passenger side heated seat switch was no longer illuminated when the headlights were turned on...
Unfortunately I think the problem is a bit worse because upon further inspection, I see that the switch itself is a bit more pressed in than the driver side one. Its as if the support underneath the switch is no longer there.
The switch can now only be turned on to the Low position, and not High. I'll be taking this into the dealership for service, but before I do, has anyone experienced something like this?
I hardly use the heated seats, and I never have anything on top of the switches either. This definitely isn't one of those things I wanted to discover on my birthday today.. Ugh.

Take it to the dealer and get if fixt, warranty or not.
The one thing that's bugged me all along about these switches is that they're too easy to hit by accident because of where they're located. On many occassions, I've all of a sudden felt my seat getting very warm only to discover the seat heat was on.

Yeah not only is my passenger side switch not fully operational (the high setting doesn't work), the entire switch itself seems a tiny bit depressed. Light bulb was out too..
I'm just adding this to the list of things I want them to look at during the same trip. It ain't gonna be pretty.
