I own an 06 NBP TL w/ A-Spec body kit, I hate the color it is, i want to blacken out my car basically, im not intrested in doing the front grill.... i think thats stupid, but I want to paint my A-SPEC Body kit NBP color so it blends in with it. Now, has anyone painted it? I also have paint and a painter that will do it Dark Silver Metallic which would look very good also, please let me know if anyone else had this idea? does the a-spec body kit come off by itself? or do u g2 take off the whole bumper? If I wanted to obtain Nighthawk Black Pearl paint, would i have to go to the dealership and get it?

Why is your A-Spec body kit NOT the same NBP as your car? What would you paint it, Silver?? Horrible......

The front and sides will come off without the bumper, but the rear is drilled into the rear bumper so the whole bumper comes off.....

It is a knock-off non-oem kick that I think was on Ebay.... I am pretty sure the tealish is the primer...

The A-Spec kits come FACTORY PAINTED from, of all places, the factory. If yours came in a tealish silver, then you have some very serious issues.

As you are the ONLY person out of several hundred to order the A-Spec kit in the Teal/Silver color combo (are they calling that Teaver Pearl now?) I suggest you figure out what the deal is asap.... If it did in fact (I can't believe I am even saying this) come that color then the dealer who ordered & installed it should paint the damn thing free of charge...

 

maybe he got an Anthracite or DGP A-spec kit?
