I had one "like" that .. doesn't resenble OEM at all .. took it off and got a different one .

 

I have an M3 style lip spoiler on my car. WDP is one of the toughest colors to color match, but my roof and trunk spoiler both match pretty damn good.

it looks cheap.. maybe because when I see TL's with them, the installer apparently doesnt know how to align them with the edge of the trunk.

seems like a good buy for less than $100 especially since its already color matched.

 

I have one on my car right now and it's horrible. I'm waiting until spring to take it off unless it gets stolen before then. The color match SSM is right on, but fitment made me think it wasn't even for my car. You get what you pay for.

use bmwoemshop on ebay....they are amazing....fitment and color match are spot on

 

I just got mine in. It's an actual oem part with the Honda sticker on it.

 

While mine is the same style as this one, it comes right to the edges of the trunk, there is no gap like this. And it doesn't look all that bad on the car. Sure if it ever comes off I'll probably get the Type-S replica, but until then, it stays.

This is where I got mine. Looks just like oem and you can get whatever color.

 

He finally received a shipment of WDP spoilers, that's also who I bought mine from.

How good does the WDP paint match? I purchased one about 4 months ago from thespoilerstore and liked the spoiler quality but it was a couple of shades lighter than my car paint.

 

I ordered the same one too,the paint wasn't too bad it actually looked good its just the fitment and the size.I put mine back in the box and decided not to install it.the one fron the spoiler factory is that the type s copy one?coz I believe the type s is bigger than the base spoiler

 

The one from the spoiler store is just like the OEM BASE lip spoiler(which you can buy from the dealer, or ebay if you find the right color I guess, and is for the base specifically). The OEM Type-S is beefier than the one from the spoiler store.

Your lip must be oem, could be used and repaired but after looking at your pictures it looks like it fit perfect..

 

I have that on my car now and hate it, ordered a oem trunk spoiler for $100 on ebay. My car's going into the shop so I figured nows the time to change it. If you haven't ordered this then don't, hold off and get a better one for a little more money. It's suppose to enhance the look of the vehicle not make it look cheap.

 

Just ordered one from the spoilerstore on ebay. Will get it on Friday.

 

I have the spoiler store one, it's nice. I've seen the first one in person, it looks cheap and is way smaller.

 

So for a final question...

is this the one to order that actually runs across the ENTIRE trunk?

They one you posted the ebay link to is the correct one. Fits perfectly and looks stock. The one you posted the picture of is the one not to buy. If you get it from thespoilerstore you should be golden.

 

Just got it today. Overall I'm impressed by the quality. Look like oem, but there's a couple small nick in the plastic. Nothing really bad, and only noticeable if you take a flashlight to it and go over every millimeter.

I'll install tomorrow and post pics.

 

Is it just me or does that look like an eBay M3 style roof spoiler more than a trunk spoiler? ...Maybe it's just me...

Yep that's it. Looks like you have an am tl right? Mine was maybe a slight Tint off. Can't tell really in the sunlight but when I bring the car in the shop under these insane fluorescent lights we have now its pretty noticeable. For 105 though I'm more then willing to live with it.

Guys, I bought the other one a while back and want to take it off now since I never liked it from the begining and put the OEM style spoiler on the trunk. Does anyone what is the best way to take it off without damaging the paint?
