Paint Calipers RED or BLUE?

im going to paint my calipers

i have a 2004 SSM TL with stock rims. ive seen pictures of Silver TL's with RED calipers and it looks very nice, nice and sporty and yet not overbearing. but i kinda have this blue theme going on with my car (Blue Neons, Interior Blue DOMES and DOORS, blue illuminated sills) and in the near future BLUE AEM INTAKE. im not sure which color to paint them. also what caliper paint is good to use? and does anyone have any pictures of Blue calipers on 04-05 SSM TL with A-Spec body kit preferably

i ordered the LED's off EBAY they are W9's. its not hard to change them out you just have to be careful when prying out the vanity enclosure. on the right side of the outer casing there is a hole u can stick a screw driver into and wedge it out, but be careful because there are 3 layers. theres the ROOF LINING a METAL CASING and then the PLASTIC ENCLOSURE, you want to get it inbetween the metal and the plastic without bending the metal and it will pop right out and you just switch the bulbs.

NFL, are you going to take the wheel apart or paint it thru the rims? That would be really easy... would it work? Just slap it on there and let dry?

Too flashy for your taste? That's pretty funny, considering your TL has the most neons and LED's on this forum...

I'd go with either red or black, although I wouldn't paint it in the first place. Make sure you clean 'em properly before painting.

i meant flashy in the brightness of the color, i personally like the blue scheme i have, the caliper paint he showed me was more of a sky blue as opposed to a neon blue.

Is this really better than having them powdercoated at a shop? Has anyone seen any problems with the paint that would warrant the extra money on PC?? I have ben thinking of doing the same thing and am curious as to the best way to do it..... Thanks guys

Nah...I wouldnt go with black because it wont stand out. Normally I would have chosen red but since your car has a blue theme, I would go with blue. Jatt has blue calipers on his car...may be a pic/photochop would help other users to better evaluate the choices

Definitely red . . . especially with SSM. Plus it will make it look like you have the Brembos.

I was looking at the Duplicolor Caliper Pain Kit at Autozone today. Red was out, so it seems to be the most popular color. Anyone used this kit?
