OWNED by a mom in a minivan!

I was driving home tonight, and this lady in her minivan looks over at me and revs her engine. I was like WTF? It's an early 90's Chrysler Caravan (they were Chrysler in Canada, not Dodge until recently). So I say to myself, what the hell is she trying to do. The light was still red, and her tires squeal as she goes off the line. I come off the line smooth and press my foot to the floor until I hit 4000 or so in second gear. She was about 4 car lengths ahead of me! I stop at the next red light and look over. The van says "turbo" on the side in light blue lettering!

LOL

Modded 1G Caravans with the 2.5L I4 turbo motor can put a serious hurtin' on stock STis and Evos.

Outside of that, the new Ody is probably the only stock minivan capable of running consistent 15s (with the quickest being the LX model).

8.2 ?

The 3900 pound 1st gen RL does that.

1st gen 3.2 TL is under 3500 pounds. Easily under 8 seconds

Too do what he did to the camaro and be able to laugh his ass of the entire time. Plus they end up getting those cars for like 600.00 to 1000.00 depending on the person and van.

for a little while i believe chrysler was pimping the turbo-4 pretty hard back in the 80s. i wan't to say they did not offer a v6 at the time, but that may not be an accurate statement.

i had an 88 chrysler lebaron turbocoupe when i was in highschool. that thing moved pretty well for it's size. just think, the engine is still the same platform for the srt-4 engine. i could have done some awesome turboswaps if i still had it today. oh well.

My mom had an 88 Grand Carovan. It had a Mitsubishi 3.0 v6. Dodge didn't even bother to make their own fuel injection cover or whatever. It said right on it Mitsubishi. I think it made like 150 hp. I remeber when I was with her the salesman was talking about all that horsepower. lol
