Outside Temp Display

We're having a bit of a cold spell here and I found out that my o6 TL outside temp display doesn't read past -30 degrees C (-22 F). Current temp was -34 C with the display locked at -30 and in the rivervalley, it dropped to -39 C (-38 F). At this point the display went to ---. I guess the TL doesn't like the cold any more than I do.

nice weather! poor TL though

If you can, take a pic of your TL with the snow around it, that will be nice, a high res., so I can put it as my wallapaper. WDP Powah!

I miss the snow..still haven't seen any in NYC.

@fred - wow dude that's cold. What kind of mileage are you getting when the temps are that low... I noticed when it's about 10 °F I get about 24 MPG on the highway vs. about 27 MPG when the temp is around 30 °F.

Does it return to a normal reading (temperature permitting) or does it continue to show a flatline display?

The display comes back on after the temperature gets close to the -30 C mark and works normally thereafter. I heard a women in the office elevator mention that her car did the same thing. I don't know if she also had an Acura. On the plus side, we having a heat wave now of -27 C.

That is interesting. I have been wondering what the max low temp reading is. Now I know. The highest it will read it 115 on the Fahrenheit scale. I assume that it wouldn't read any hight than 46 on Cellsius side. 115F is actually 46.111C. Maybe someone will know.
