I love the idea! I'd love to see it! Shit, just plastidip the whole car. If u don't like it, peal it off. If u do like it, peal it off and do it right! No harm trying it and pealing it off. Check out this video. This guy does his S4 in flat black. I've seen him do it in flat white too!

Just get the car vinyl wrapped with flat black vinyl. It's much cheaper and easier than paint. It's also not permanent, so if you don't like it you can peel it off.
Chances are there's a company near you that wraps commercial/fleet vehicles that can do your car.

i work in a body shop and ive seen cars painted like that before .. but the paint doesnt last long and it starts peeling off. that also happens with bad weather.
but i would definitely keep it in mind.
thats a good idea. i would be able to install it my self since ive worked with vinyl before.

Yeah the vinyl wraps are supposed to last up to 5 years and you can buy 175 square feet of 3M matte black vinyl wrap for around $350, so if you could install it yourself it would be pretty cheap.

^yup you need a lot of supporting mods to pull it off well. body kit/suspension/correct wheels/tint/heads/tails...you get the idea.
I'd love to see a heavily modded TL wrapped in 3M carbon fiber vinyl.

Not a ton of pics, but you can get some ideas at least.
EDIT: maybe it would help if i read all of this thread, since this link has already been posted.

I'd do it Emerson. I think it would look awesome.
Also, another cool item on Acurazine is the multi-quote button. You'll find it in the lower right hand corner of each post (the middle icon). Click on it to respond to more than one person in a single reply.
