Hello all,

I’m in the middle of replacing my ballast and igniters with a kit from The Retrofit Source. The problem is that the male end of the Morimoto adaptor is a close, but not exact fit for my 2005. I’ve tried using a dremel to adjust the fit but I’m beginning to think it would be easier to use the male from the old ballast and spice that into the Morimoto adaptor.

Question: This old ballast has been disconnected for two weeks now. Is there any danger in opening it up?

 

Ignore above post. It just occurred to me that I can splice the adapter into the car's electrical harness and avoid those connectors.
