HID ballast question

I need a new ballast and want to know which ones i can use that will work with my car. Is it any ballast that is D2R? because there are are a few on ebay that are from a TL. Years 02-06.

Mine and 123456Speed's ballast went out couple weeks ago, why is this all happening to our 03's?

I think any ballast will work. if you go to hidplanet.com/forums they will be able to answer for sure. or later i will try my BMW ballast see if it fits on the D2R bulbs.
