I dunno man, I think both the base plain red and then the type-s look good. Ghosting is cool but when I look at some of the subbies and lexuss and mazdas that tried the "altezza/ghost" type look stock..well quite frankly I think it looks like trash.

But that link above on the WDP looks great. And this mod looks like is gonna look good too.

I think the "ghost" lights would look good on any 3G TL since it coordinates with the sidemarkers. My matching heads will be done in a couple of weeks to complete the "ghost" look.

In my opinion, all aftermarket and OEM Altezza lights look like crap...the lone possible exception is an RX330 with the black chrome tails. Anything straight clear and chrome = ; anything red and chrome = . If I hadn't tinted the inner lenses, I wouldn't like my own lights .

I like all of the styles acura produced through out the span of the 3G TL.... but if they mixed it up a bit like they did for the chinese style TL even the red marker lights in the tail lens looks good. im sure we'd still have the itch to rip apart and fabricate something new. but the style the have for these light is what lets them look good ghosted or semi ghosted or red or whatever....im sure if someone would take the type s insides n put them in the old red lens from 04-06....it would look pretty sick simply because its darker chrome and the extra red would add to the darkness and they would compliment eachother....you wouldnt need to tint the tails they'd look diff enough to be noticed.

Yes altezza setups are ugly. some of the car manufacturers went a lil overboard with it but im sure there was a reason....a bad one but there was one.

Gotta admit... breaking the red tails scared me away for a few days. But they look fantastic.

Nope that's a reflector. There's nothing you can do about it, its made into the turn signal.

04 yea....i tried a bunch of combinations.... they all look good... but the ghost look def compliments the car well....its really all a matter of opinion and color combos
