As for facts, does bench racing with someone else's second-hand dynos and selectively chosen car mag numbers count as a credible response to a street racing thread? This is pathetic. Seriously, if you're going to troll on A-TL at least respond with a fun lie like "Oh yeah, well I kicked a TL's ass last night. We raced up to 150 mph and suddenly he dropped out and pulled over. I think his tranny blew! "

Isn't that more interesting than:
"My car is not ugly. :'( "
and "The interior may look like crap, but that doesn't mean it is cheap! "
or the eventual "Oh yeah! Well your car is FWD so it can't be fast! "

I'd really like to see the trolls improve their skills, otherwise we will have to oursource your role to India or Malaysia. At least then we could be entertained by the challenge of figuring out what was posted.

Spicy enough?
TL_6sp is usually to blame when these racing threads go south. When I was single and hitting the bar scene, I remember going to a bar I hadn't been to in several months and seeing the same people, trolling for someone to spend the night with. I remember thinking to myself what losers they were. Well after having not been on here for months, thats pretty much they way I feel about the usual suspect that troll G35 threads.

First of all idiot I am not TL 6 Spd. Read some posts of mine and you can tell we are not the same person. I also don't know where he lives but do an IP trace route and you will see that I am in the Bay area and I do not believe TL 6spd is. My personal opinion on this matter is that the G is a true sports sedan and you have to have a RWD car to be a true sports sedan. Only the BMW 3 series and the G35 perform around the top of this class and satisfy the RWD criteria. If you want luxury sedan with some sport in it then a TL is for you. With nearly the same performance as the 3 series and the G (except in the twisties) the TL satisfies this. If you are looking for a great interior then you should not be looking at a true sports sedan like the G35 and the 330. If you are looking for a true sports sedan then you should not be looking at a FWD car.

If I had to choose a car now I would mot likely choose the TL because I only use the performance aspect of the G about 10% of the time and the TL would not be safe in this situation (Driving through the SC mountains on the 152). The 2004 TL was not out at this time. I have one of the 1st G's in California and have logged 58,000 miles already. Has the car been perfect the whole time? No, but it has been pretty damn good.

Too funny. Why do people insist on defending anything they purchase like the object is their mother? I like both cars, but the TL fit MY NEEDS better than the G35.

You know they cannot resist themselves to say "the car I'm driving is my favorite and the best of the best..."

You missed the whole point of my recent rash of posts. These are the same tired arguments that have been on this forum for months posted ad nauseum by the same 10 people, FWD vs. RWD, torque steer is bad, your interior is crappy, my car's faster than yours, blah, blah, blah. All I'm saying is get a freakin life already. Let someone else take over the G35's defense for awhile.

Sure, and if you think 2 different IP's can't exist in the same household, mail me 5 bucks and I'll send you a chip for your car that will add 50 horsepower.

Right on...It's kind of like that Jerky Boys CD where he says, "I soak myself in lamp oil and light myself on fire. The crowd seems to like this."

:sqnteek: My position in this debate is that I like both cars, but I wanted TL but I wouldn't mind buying G35c or Sedan.

It's been two years since I posted. The average age on this forum must now be down to 16 or 17 - I wish my Mommy and Daddy bought me a nice expensive car when I was that age....................

ANd we finally have a winner for idiot of the year. Yes I am the smae person as TL. If you were smart you would understand that I have the IP address of CHarter communication in Morgan Hill. But I probably hacked into their server and hijacked an IP address just to trick you. I have to go now the CIA needs me to go capture Bin Laden. I will post again after I have turned him over. Oh but on the way back I need to thwart another attack in Europe by using my super secret invisibility potion.

Brock,

One does not have to look too far to see that you always show up the same time TL_6sd or SilverBulletCLS are signed on. Plus the same immature, name calling writing style is a dead give away. It's not rocket science, just sound deductive reasoning.

This thread cannot be the fault of 16-17 yr olds. This thread is by much older gentlemen and women who continue to argue over the same issue with no definitive answer until someone shuts it down.

I continue to read it because I am bored to death reading FASB's and SAS's at work. However, it saddens me that so many people view these threads, but those useful thread out there, with actual information, pictures, dynos, etc. etc.? Nah...they die in a week.

Ah well. Back to reading all the innovative insults...happy reading all...

Deductive reasoning would tell you that since I say that Iwould have bought the TL instead of a G that I am not the same person. TL probably would never say this. Unfotunatley the TL was not out at the time. I bought my G in April of 2002, the first month they were available. I have a fully loaded G with NAV but the difference between mine and most is that I do not have the Titanium finish on the inside because I got the wood package. I got it from Infiniti of Redwood City which used to be called Shen Infiniti. Unfortunately Michael Shen was convicted of some felonies and was thrown in jail and they had to change the name of it. Now this is not something I could make up becuase it can be researched. I can give you my VIN number to check out if you would like. Please don't tell me most TL owners have an IQ similar to room temperature as swat dude shows that he has.

The G35 is an ugly car.

Can we close the thread now that we've gotten to the point?
