Oil reccomendations

Does anyone use Royal Purple oil in their TL? Also, what is the best tranny fluid for an 04 automatic.

Royal purple or Mobil 1 is good for Tl. Use Honda Z1 Fluid for the tranny.

I go with good ol' 5W-20 non-synthetic oil (Havoline/Valvoline/Castrol) for oil changes. Cheap-cheap after rebate on a case. For tranny and coolant fluids however, I spend the money and get only Honda-approved stuff. If I remember right, Honda coolant was $12/gallon for pre-mix. Ridiculous to be sure, but better money spent than getting synthetic motor oil. To each their own...
