Oil Life Indicator

I had my oil changed by Acura (part of service B) this past Tuesday. I've put about 200 miles on since then, mixed highway and city, and my oil life is at 90%. Should it only take 200 miles for a 10% oil breakdown? I mean, I do drive the car and I don't baby the engine, but still???

if you drive aggressively it will drop the oil life alot faster.

Mine reads 60% after 3030 miles - I guess I baby the dang thing. Is there a good reason (other than the obvious) to change the oil filter at 3K? I have read others doing this - also, what kind of a mess (other than the usual) will this make since the crankcase is still full of oil?

Have you been waiting around in traffic? it has been mentioned several times that the MID indicator probably takes into account total engine rotations, because those in higher traffic areas seem to have lower oil life with the same amount of miles.
