3700 miles, 50%.
By the way, fsttyms1, congratulations on turning 130k! Time to consider a new TL.

Most modern oil on modern engine can last MUCH longer than 3000 miles. On my Maxima I go 10,000 on Mobil 1 synthetic. On my Integra I go 5,000 on Castro GTX. All of this is based on repeated oil analysis. Jiffy Lube would love for you to change it ever 3,000 miles... they make more money that way. But you don't need to do it...

Of couse, I'd like to see the look on their face when you try; also want to see them try to charge you for it. <VBG>

I have 2000 miles and it shows life at 80%. Thats fine.
I typically change oil at the recommended 7500 mile intervals for regular oil and 10000 to 12500 for Mobil 1 oil. Been doing this for 30 years and heve NEVER, I repeat NEVER, had an oil related problem...NEVER. All the hype about 3000 miles intervals is crap unless you are towing or ubder some strenuous conditions that no one ever travels under. Change it at 7500 miles... and if it will make you feel better, at 3000 miles send me the money you would have spent on the oil change... cuz it will do as much good... SAVE YOUR MONEY...AND TIME!!!
Go to the mid display ...show oil life... and hit reset for about 10 seconds... It will reset to 100%. This procedure is in the owners manual.

What, not synth?
People seem to be lumping synthetics in with traditional oils in these replys. Pretty certain that everyone KNOWS that synthetics were designed to go 10K, right? The traditionals go from 3K to 5K generally before they start to breakdown. In regards to the sensors...Benz & BMW have been doing this for quite some time. It's actually a pretty simply analysis by the engine of vicosity and transparency. Some sensors even detect metal content. These systems therefore will provide a more personal feedback based on your driving style (right). In some cases, it is simply a straight mileage-based measurement. I have no idea which system Acura uses in these cars but did think that the oil was synthetic from the start. From what I'm reading here, I guess I was wrong. If it's not synthetic, I'm changing it to the synth at the 7500 mile breakin mark.
