I was surprised today when I got a call from Acura rep. in California, he told me that A-SPEC has been ready for a while but they were doing the legal an warrenty papers (or something like that) and he told me that A-SPEC package should be officially on sale 12/15/2003 selling for $5200 plus dealer labor.
I'm going with that and I'll have it installed as soon as it hits the dealer.

I'm stupified! That is sooooo much money! I don't understand what is so expensive. Why? How is it worth it? As a side note, can you ever hope to get your money out of that when you sell it? Or are you just leasing?

 

Oh wait. I just remembered who you are Qatar. You mentioned on another thread that you're from the middle east, and that your family has a ton of money. Now I get it. You can afford to spend that kind of money without batting an eye.

Must be nice...but why not just get an M5 or an AMG 55 E Class then?

 

$5200 for suspension is stupid. You can get a pretty kick ass aftermarket suspension for $5200 and I'm guessing the price you're quoting is USD.

 

It's $5200 for the parts alone...and it's more than suspension (lowering springs). It's better brakes, a body kit, a very special and mysterious steering wheel (of which we STILL don't have a picture, LOL), and a super special badge. God only knows how much dealers are going to charge for install. Definitely way too rich for my blood, though I give Qatar props for doing it!

 

Now you're talking about $40,000+ maybe even $45,000. :wow:

I only live once, and I was raised to enjoy everything i do, so i thought of loading up that baby.
I have 7 exotice cars in the Middle East including a 2001 Nissan Skyline ( Japanese import), 2002 BMW 735I (German Import) and a 2001 Lumina Commdore SS.
And to tell you the truth, my father almost shot my A$$ wheni got an Acura (He wanted an M5) and note there is no Acura in the Middle East.
Acura deson't drive any of y cars back there, and myabe thats why its special and i love it.
And i dislike driving MB, i just hate to drive one.
