I like the look of the 08 TL-s A-spec front bumper/lip.
Can I achieve this with an 06 Base?

direct fit

If this has already been done, can someone link me the page or build tread?
all that is the same, it may even run with the 3.2 ecu

Not an Acura but here I go.
06 Accord 3.0 6mt sedan

1 I am wondering what year/model Acura/Honda has turn signals in side mirrors.
2 For 06 accord fog lights I have seen a mod where it appears they replace the fog lights with older TL lights do you know which ones fit the opening.
Great Thread

I'd like to know if the shift knob from the 2010 TL (54102-TK5-A01ZA) fits mine (54102-SEP-A01ZA). The shift knob for the TL has not changed since 2004 in appearance, but I did not know (and neither did the Acura dealer) whether or not it had changed screw-wise.

Are the 07-08 Type-S seats a direct bolt-in fit on 04-06 base model cars? Do they plug directly into the seat harnesses and have the same electronic adjustments/controls, etc.? I searched but can't find an answer. Thanks!

How well will RJ Legends fit on my car with +32 offset? I am mostly asking about the offset here; how sunken in/out would they be? I am hoping for relatively flush... These are 18x8 wheels.

I'm thinking of buying a set of 19inch rims and tires and wondering if these rims/tire setup would work?

Rims are Fast CO Hayaku
Both tire sizes are 245/45/19

Fronts are 19*8.5 with 40 offset
Rears are 19*9.5 with 35 offset

My question is will this work? and can I still lowered the car 1.5 inches?

Looking forward to your feedback..

thanks in advance.

Brakemotive on ebay has a nice set of drilled and slotted rotors for the 07' Type S. I installed a set myself and they work great.

Will the rear view mirror from a Honda Odyssey with built in LCD monitor, for back up camera, fit? If I went with an after factory supplier what type of mirror is on the TL -- cam lock or wedge mount? (I have searched everywhere for this one)

Definitely fits. I got one today for 42.61 From the dealer. They are identical apart from the stitching (and the price for some reason). The old one was 132g and the new one 133g...
I also posted this in the thread I found it in for 2nd gen cl's. Sorry for the double post.
Here is a side by side pic.

I'd like to know if the front bumper cover from a 2007 will fit a base 2004.
Hit a deer, need new hood, fender, bumper cover and driver headlight. Since I'm replacing these parts figured I would make it look a little newer.

Item you would like fitment verified: 18x8 Konig lace rims. 35mm offset. What size tire? I like a bulge to protect the rim. Will this offset make my tire flush with the car? I think the stock rims sit in a bit too much, but I also don't like rims that stick out like a go cart. I figure the stock rims might look even more in set once my a spec lip kit is installed. I would like the top of my tire pretty much almost flush Witt the wheel well.

Getting excellent help from TheMachine and doing a ton of research, i have found that you will have to roll your fenders, and make sure the offset is 40+ and even then in the back you will get some rubbing. Just my . My wheels should be here in the next couple weeks, so i will have a much better idea then.

They are not hella flush but more like kinda flush.

With springs and a little negative camber there is no issues at all and IMO look good.

Fitment questions:
Are there any quad tip mufflers that will fit a stock TL bumper?
Will a BBK fit on the Stock 17's?
Would a 19" wheel with 40mm offset and 245/35 tires rub? Am lowered to the point where my fender front is sitting almost flush with top of the tire of stock 17's. Would i need a fender roll and/or fender pull???

Last, I need to know if the Type-S cam will bolt into a UA6, the Type-S cam is hallowed out so it weighs a couple lbs less than a UA6 cam, and its slightly more aggressive.

Oh and one more question do you think I can run all three mods with a stock UA6 ECU?

what gains can i expect if i went through with those 3 mods?

Question tire/rim fit question

I was wanting to know if a 245/35ZR20 would fit a stock 06 Acura TL? The stock tires are 235/45/17 so I'm not sure how to tell if they would fit. Would love if you explained this to me as well so I know next time if you don't mind. if not thx anyways!

20's look like on the TL

Search around before picking a wheel you think looks nice.

And I HIGHLY doubt it will fit.

People running 19's run a 225/35/19 tire.

Again, you're just giving your opinion. I like the style and that's all that matters. I was asking if they would fit. I'm not big on all the lingo so you telling me what ppl with 19's run doesn't mean anything to me atm.

You have to give more specs on the wheels than just the diameter. Offsets, width, etc. And you need to give the model of wheel too, different style wheels need different offsets.

And WD is right, 20's look like shit on the TL 99.9% of the time.

I have a 07 TL Type-S. I would like to get dedicated track day wheels/tires. Looking at 04 standard TL 5- star wheels, but not sure if they'll fit over the Brembo calipers?

Also, tire wise, would 245/35 give me the best handling performance for the track or should I opt for a difference size?

Thanks in advance!
