yes but the turn signal connector is different so you will have to do a itty bitty modification to it

It is.. It's just the bulbs are different size so you have to get 2 bulbs and make it work w/ the connector

It's been done before

just wondering if anyone can answer these questions for me...

i'm trying to get an idea of what steps need to be taken to do a 07-08 type S aspec front and rear conversion on a base 05 TL. i've seen that some people cut the stock bumper and just add the aspec lip on there. i actually need to repaint the bumper i have right now, so i was considering just buying a prepainted type S bumper instead of paying to get my current bumper repainted.

- do the type s bumpers fit on the 05 tl with no problem? or do i have to do body mods in order to make it fit?

- for the front bumper... would the headlights have to be changed to the 07-08 headlights, too?

- my tl is an ssm... would the colors even match correctly? i know the 07-08 have a different kind of silver from the 04-06.

any other things i should be looking out for when doing a conversion? please let me know! thanks.

the only difference is the grill... save your money, just get the lips, cutting the rear bumper is easy as pie

since the grille is the only difference, would an 07-08 BASE aspec lip fit on an 05 with no problem? i've been debating and i think i'm liking the base aspec lip better than the type s aspec.

I doubt it and if it did it would require some custom-work

1) you can fit 05 sedan honda accord foglights in there... there are a few threads detailing how it is done

2) 05-06 brake lights fit yes

let me start with the foglights first

if you want 07 BASE you will need 07 Base bumper... if you were thinking 07 S lip you're good to go, and you can still use the accord fogs

for the rear lip, I thing the lexus tips may fit in the opening... you will have to look up the DIY on how to get the S rear lip on... dremel is a must

https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-audio-bluetooth-electronics-navigation-94/

that is a link for the Audio, Bluetooth, Electronics & Navigation section

aside from the navigation drive dvd and screen, you will need the steering wheel, microphone gps antenna and all the wiring

would anyone happen to know how much (in inches) the 05 aspec lip kit adds to the bottom of the car? i'm planning on getting an aspec kit and i'm concerned about scraping the front lip going in and out of driveways. my car is already lowered 1.5in.

Spacers
Flush enough

225/35-19 Front or 225/40-19 Front
235/35-19 Rear or 245/35-19 Rear

If given the stretched... With the semi stretch tire sizes... Fitment will be pretty flush...

Figure it'll add 2" to the bottom of the fwd overhang

Hey Stillhere my car is lowered on H&R Race Springs and I was wondering if 18x8.5 with a 30 offset would be able to fit in the rear.

with 235/40-18
with 245/40-18 (not immediately at least), may require fender rolling to avoid rubbing when people sit in the back and on dips, or you could dial in a tiny bit of negative camber

Does a 2007 front bumper fit a 2006 body. The reason is to put those fog lights on a 06 body

What size tires do I need for a set of A spec 18 wheels?
Right now the tires are 235 40 18 but are worn out so I have to purchase a new set. I'm not exactly sure what size tires I should put on them without having any problems. Please let me know. Thanks

NOT HARD AT ALL

19x9 +35 requires 245/35-19 tires.. if you are dropped more than 1.5" 235/34-19

19x10 +38 requires a 245/35-19 tire if you are dropped more than 1.5" if not 255/35-19 can rock

245 on x9.5 isn't too bad of a stretch, and with that drop you'll be golden

I actually just noticed you're a one man show in this thread... thx for your help. One more question... I'm not looking for my wheels to poke out way past my wheel well, should I go less aggressive or will I be ok? Thx again!

And also could you shoot me some prices on recommended tires... I plan on dropping my car using Tein Basics or Neuspeed Super Cup Kit.
