NPB looking for black grill

Good morning guys,
I just got my NPB 6MT couple of weeks ago and already did the ebay CAI w/ K&N filter and painted my OEM wheels black, I am now looking at painting the grill black.
Could anybody direct me at how to take it off or what should I use to sand it before painting it...
Any help would be greatly appreciated !

Look through this thread. It will give you some ideas about what direction you want to take with your grille. Good luck

And if you still want to paint it black when you're done with this thread use plasti-dip and 1000 grit sand paper.

Are those Forgestars on rockstar's car? I like em.

Way to much wheel turnage unless you guys can't park right.

Lol get ready to get flamed for spending 300 bucks on a pipe with a filter.
A CAI is all the same and there is no reason to spend 300 bucks for an AEM sticker on it lol.

man sharksbreath you did your grill perfectly. for me, i had to use 3 seperate vinyl cut outs for the lower "V" trim. i didn't have enough to stretch it all out so i was forced to do section by section.

when you stand up close you can see the outlines where 1 piece of vinyl ended and where the next started even though i overlapped it on each other.

oh and the bar in the middle that holds the "A" emblem.... getting the vinyl to stick perfectly around all the curved edges of the "A" emblem was a BITCH! i couldn't even vinyl the underside perfectly so i just half assed it cause most people wouldn't see anyways.

but everytime i see your car, i think about my half-assed vinyled grill and it makes me want to buy vinyl and do it all over to look as perfect as yours!!!!!!!!

Sharksbreath was my inspiration for this mod...took a long time, but I was able to wrap each piece with one section of vinyl too...BIG pain in the ass, but it turned out great!!! Only downside is that the vinyl in each of the two coves on either side of the "A" in the middle bar, which at first were properly adhered have now started to come up after the hot summer. I now have to redo that piece again, and honestly I'm not looking forward to it...by far the hardest and most tedious part of the whole job...
