Not having a bluetooth phone sucks!

I apologize this has been addressed here before. Having purchased a TL and not having a bluetooth phone really sucks. I signed up for a 2 yr contract with AT&T about 6 months ago. I have Motorola T721 and am trying to figure out the best way to get my hands on a bluetooth phone. I really hate to spend another $200 just to get a stand alone cell phone. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Hit ebay and get one of those unlocked phones. I'm on my second bluetooth phone now.

Why not sell your phone on E-bay and get a bluetooth one there?

unlock phone means it can be used for another carrier (in different country as well). even though your phone can be 3 band, it still need to be unlocked so you can use another sim card.

Do all phone companies accept you to bring unlocked phones ?
or they can say "you need to buy the phone from us" ...

I'm always afraid they won't take my unlocked phone...

With the gsm phones the provider doesn't need to be notified of the phone switch. All the user has to do is switch the sim card. At&t will work with you. The last phone i got didn't read all the info from the sim. (wireless internet stuff.) So I eventually got them to walk me thru the programming steps.

If you have the need, I would just do the AT&T add a line plan that adds a phone to your existing plan for $9.99/mo (1st 3 mos free). This new plan will allow you to take advantage of their new line discounts on phones. I know there are some bluetooth phones that are free with a new line at AT&T. Only get the new line for 1 year, then you can cancel if you don't need it. You can also have them but your existing # on the new phone and put the new # on your old phone. Just did this at Christmas but not for a bluetooth, b/c I haven't gotten my TL yet
