NOOB - Replacement Key?
OK, I'm a NOOB to this forum. Thanks for your patience.
Got my first TL yesterday - 2006. Not cherry, but good bang for the buck - whoo hoo!
I only received 1 key and 1 keyless entry keyfob. Keyfob was easy, order the right one off eBay and program according to instructions in this forum.
What I'm confused about is the physical key. I've notice locksmiths, Walmart and the like now cut chipped/transponder keys. But, how do these get associated with the vehicle???
To cut to the chase, do I need to get a 2nd key from a Acura dealer or is there a procedure I can perform?

Best bet is to get a key from the dealership and have them cut and program it for you, or you can just buy one of the switchblade keys through the group buy program and have the dealer program and cut it for you
