Whats going on everybody? I am about to buy a 04 or 05 TL. I do have a few questions that would help with my decision. Hopefully some people could help me out.

1. I really like white but I hate the wood grain, i get wholesell pricing on acura parts and it's still almost $500 for the carbon pieces, is there a cheaper way?

2. I am thinking of getting a set of 19x8.5 Time Attack te37, does anyone know where I can get a set?

3. Tein SS, how is the ride quality? Is there anything better?

4. Does anyone make a turbo kit for the tl?

5. Has anyone regretted getting the auto vs. 6mt?

6. Is there a way to make the stock dvd unit play dvds through the nav screen?

7. I also want to get the rear view camera setup for the 04 what do I need?

8. Has anyone fit a snowboard through the armrest in the back?

9. Does anyone play Call of Duty 4 on 360?

3. Everyone with the Tein SS loves it, its gives a nice drop and the damping can be adjusted to your preference. Also you can buy the EDFC unit to control in from inside the car too.
4. No turbo yet, got a few people working on it, but the problem is tuning.
5. Some people have regretted it, but it depends on your situation, like is it stop and go traffic or open roads?
6. Yes, You will need Dom's TVNAV2GO unit and a DVD player

I only want NBP if I can get the time attack te37. Also it is impossible to find a white one with black or gray interior.

Only if you are looking for an 06. In 04-05, you could get black or quartz (gray). In 06 Acura changed interior options on WDP to parchment or ebony (black).
I liked the WDP, but since I knew I wanted quartz interior, that eliminated that color choice for me.

1 - get dark interior and then you'll get the PLIBER instead of the PLOOD (Plastic carbon fiber=pliber and plastic wood=plood)

6 - yes there is dvd2go and other things that you can use/hacks for dvd movies, Playstations etc
7 - camera and wiring for power and video to nav
8 - I don't ski or snowboard but I do love snow and winter

2. They're expensive but try the volks website? iunno, or just get a set of black TE-37's and paint the lip red and pretend. LOL

4. Not that I know of but there are Supercharger kits for the non Type-S 3.2L.

5. YES! The reason I got 5AT is because I didn't like the clutch on the 6MT, and I already have an STI which is standard, so I was thinking of having the TL for a Dailydriver and to keep me relax with AT. But I'm in love with the TL and I regret it, cuz I can change the clutch on it anyways. =\

6. Yes, alot of people on here did it, search and you will find!

How the hell did you fit your snowboard? Did you take the bindings off? I bought the car thinking I could get by with the pass through as my board is a fairly average 157cm. Wouldn't fit!

omg..to answer question number 8....i did fit it in the backseat because my friend had to take it and because i couldn't put it through the arm rest since i was seating 5 people...the board scratched the crap out of the wood trim....ughhhh

I figured it wouldn't so I would just pick up a set of racks to use whenever I head up to the mountains.

Also I am aware of the nav2go style systems to make the navi screen play dvds. My question is there a way to make the In-Dash stock dvd unit play DVDs?

Nope. Every modification I've seen to get a DVD playing through our Nav screens is by using a separate unit.

3. I just bought my teins... I LOVE THEM. Tein-ss @ 8 clicks in front and 8 clicks in back.

5. I HELLA regret getting an auto.. try to find a 6mt... THe stuff the 6mt offers is unbelievable. U get Brembo brakes in front, LSD, sportier suspension. bigger rear sway bar..

8. In order to fit a snowboard, I think u will need to take off rear seats.

So the 04 and 05 6mt TL has different features other than just the transmission then the auto?????????

Also I am about to buy a set of G-Games 99B Baracda's size 19x8.5 +40 offset. They will fit correct?

Yes, that is correct. The MT TL comes with upgraded sway-bar and brembo brakes. The suspension is the same for the most part, the only difference is with the A-Spec setups.
