No More Rattles

I just got my 2004 TL back from the body shop last week, much to my surprise they fixed all the rattles there is still some minor vibration issues though, the bill was close to 18K.

What did they do for $18K? Must have been more than just fix the rattles.

No 18K, I was making a left on green, and this 18 year old girl in an old camero ran the red light and hit me between 40-50mph, most of the airbags went off and the car spun 180 degrees, when they put the car back together they were no longer any rattles...

For 18k they better have fixed the rattles, and put active camoflage on, and gave it wings, had a forward facing output shaft, and a propeller. wouldnt 18k in repairs total a TL?

Wow 18k to fix your TL. I thought the insurance would have totaled the car and write you a check.

I believe $18,000. $1,800 would barely cover the cost of the airbags.

wow, i hope no one was in the passenger seat. were you injured at all?? (hope not)

she must have hit you in the front corner (fender/passenger door) to cause 18k in damage. well... at least you got the rattles fixed.

Don't advertise this too much. You'll have all the TL complainers on this board purposefully getting into accidents just so they can fix their rattles!!

That is exactly the damage, I had minor injuries mostly musculoskeletal, the TL really handled the impact well, I think the center column took most of the force.
