Exclamation No Directions from Tim's GroupBuy? HELP

Well guys I recieved my A-Spec bodykit from the GB from DHL. Well when the package came in it looked like somebody was wrestling with the box I was pissed off so I opened the box and all the pieces were luckily still wrapped!!!

Now the question to you guys who recieved your bodykit from Tim, did you get any directions on the install? If now where did you guys get the installation steps? I hope I can get some info from anyone. Thanks!

:EDIT: Mods I'm sorry if I posted in the wrong section:noob:, please tell me if I did and I will start this thread again in the appropriate section. Thanks.

Thanks Trancemission!!! I have a friend of mine coming over tomorrow to help me do the install. The sides don't appear to be too difficult but the rear is another story.... All the holes being drilled and taking the bumper off is getting me a little nautious lol

Hmm maybe I should send JMBnova a pm since I remember him saying it was pretty straight forward install. Hopefully he'll see this thread and post if not tomorrow I'll send him a pm. Thanks again Trance!

It is a straightforward install as long as you follow the directions to the T and don't get creative and try to create your own directions.

The holes on the back bumper are marked on the back of the bumper itself. You just need a push pin to make the pilot holes, and drill away. Bumper removal is very easy, too. It should be a breeze with 2 ppl.

I bought my kit from Tim and I didn't receive a direction either. I didn't expect it though, because the boxes said that there's no instruction inside.

Make sure you find the markings on the rear bumper that are lower. There are also markings for the backup sensors. If you pop those out you're fucked.

I have to jack the car up and remove the tire to get to that 4th screw right? How did you end up doing it? Damn I'm such a NOOB

No directions, and box was destroyed by DHL as well. I had to print the directions from our Garage section. Also I was missing the two black covers and templates. They said they were in the box but they weren't. I still have yet to receive my covers from them. So I will be calling them again.

Just tkae it to the dealer. They will charge you but you know it will be done correctly and you will not have to worry about messing up. And plus, if something does go wrong you can always take it back.

Damn that really sucks....Hmmm now that you say that it's got me thinking I didn't order the front lip because I already had it and I only recieved two bags (one with the clips and the other with the harness for the rear) am I missing anything else? Oh yeah, did you have to jack the car up and remove the rim to get to the 4th screw in the front?

SHAYAN:
Only problem going to the dealer is they charge so much and it's a drive to my dealer. When I installed the front lip they charged me $100 just for the install. This seems like a time-consuming but straight-forward install. Well I just wanted to know how the other members were doing the isntall and if they were removing the rims to get to the screws. After that it seems pretty easy.

Didn't need to jack the car up or remove the rims. I just used my Rhino ramps and had the car up for front end clearance. And turned the tires/wheels the direction to allow me access to the screws.

The rear clamps are more of a pain. It says you need to drill a hole and we were confused on why. We found out later its used to allow your screw driver to pass through it to access a screw behind it. We just used a L shaped Phillips and was able to get them in there without adding another hole. A bit more of a pain, but cosmetically it looked better.
