nj peeps needed

this is concerning headlights. im interested in getting them black out and done up by the man himself,jnc.. any problems with the po-po for people in the ny/nj area.
1. does it have to show any amber.?
2. will switchbacks help with the legality?
3. if the reflective surfaces are painted black, will this be a problem?? also will the light still project??
4. painting fog light bulb cover? just for look? any changes with the light??

anyone know of a site where i can look up the regualtions?

any other issues or concerns would be greatly appreciated..middlesex / monmouth county area cops have nothing else better to do but bust balls.. thanks..

^^ I havent had the need yet, my inspection expires in 12/2010, so idk about that. I doubt you would be able to pass it though since the law requires an amber reflector in the front. Im pretty sure you can take it to one of the little private inspection stations and they can pass it for you.

^^wait a sec...if the law requires amber reflector, then aren't you breaking that law if you clear the headlights? Or are you saying you don't know the answer?

I thought the law was just blinking amber. I am almost positive since the Lexus RX400 has all clear lights. I think you will be fine, but I dont find out until 2010 when I get mine inspected again.

i think your allowed to have clear head/tail lights as long as your using the same color bulbs that came from the factory ie red for tails, yellow for fogs etc
