Newbee Intro

I just pulled the trigger on this TL:

http://www.chicagomotorcars.com/show.../2004-Acura-TL

Any opinions on this car?

I got it for $16,500. I have not picked it up yet. I am stepping up from a '91 Legend, so I am pretty excited about it.

I know nothing about the TL, is there any specific things I should be looking for at delivery? I looked throgh the sticky about taking delivery, and it had some good stuff, even though it was for a new car.

Thanks in advance

Congrats and welcome to the family! First thing, register your car at owners.acura.com. It will basically list all the recalls for your vehicle just to make sure you car is up to date. And you will be even more broke from now on.

Congrats on your new purchase and welcome to AZ

Make sure you give the car a good look over. Test everything inside, horn, wipers, stereo, A/C, seat heaters, mirrors, power seat, blinkers, lights, window washer, windows (up/down) and test drive checking for handling, brakes, and acceleration.

Welcome to the forums and congrats on the TL. It looks great in the pics. Not too many 6MT in that color on this site.

I was already registered with the '91, so I added the TL, but I don't see where the recalls are?

Why does everyone always say that to new people joining the forum? I got a TL and I haven't spent on a cent on it yet other than gas and oil. One of the great things about the TL (and Acuras in general) is that it's a very low maintanence car, you buy it and there is very little you have to do to keep it going.
