I thought I'd just drop a line and say I'm really happy there's a forum here on the TL. There isn't many forums out there for the new TLs!

I just picked up my new TL on Friday (july 7) and already I got 6000 km on it! haha! I'm kidding

I picked up a new 2006 TL-Dynamic w/ Navi.

It's the best car choice ever I think. I think it's the best value for all the cars out there.
I traded in my 2002 Honda Civic for this TL. I'm glad I did this!

I think all canadian model TLs are sooo much more expensive than the TLs in the States.

As Boardman said, what int/ext colour did you get?

 

I got a black exterior on black interior. I even had the dealer tint the windows black.

You know.. the dynamic trim... the one with 6-speed and such. lol

 

Congrats and welcome to the forums It's good that you found this place because it's packed with info on our cars, like tips/fixes/idea's/ect.. The only downside is the more you come to these forums the more you'll spend money on modding your car

 

VERY VERY true. i bought my car a week ago, thinking "wow this car looks amazing stock, im not going to have to do anything to it"

then after browsing the 3G forums and seeing pics of diff members sexy cars, im already thinking about the a-spec kit and possibly rims

but im trying my hardest not to give in so easily this time, and try to keep the car stock for a little longer

 

I want rims!!

Welcome Bro!!! Look through the forum you will learn plenty about this car. I too agree as far as it being the best car I have ever owned and the navi is supreme. I am in Richmond Hill, but thats Toronto I guess as far as the forum goes.

 

The AZ forum is the only addiction worth having ......well, maybe not the ONLY one

 

I thought of the A-Spec but I decided against it.

I use to have a Honda Civic and yes yes.. it was modded right to the nipples!
No more for me The only thing I'd think of doing is maybe an A-Spec kit down the road.. like a long time down the road.

I live in Etobicoke but I visit Richmond Hill regularly as the girlfriend lives there.

I'm in need of all season tires I think as I got the dynamic package and it came only with summer tires. I wonder if those even work at all in winter?

 

I'm looking for one now. How much did you pay? I am really concidering bringing one from US. I'm in Calgary.

 

I traded in a 2002 Civic for $7500.. and the amount due at delivery (fixed costs, first month, and some down payment) was $5000.

I negotiated to under $400 a month.
