New TL owner

I picked it up last Wednesday. It drives a lot different that my 2000 4 cyl accord I traded in. The accord had 217,969 miles. They gave me $3k on trade in so I couldn't find the strength to say no.

The previous owner always had the car serviced at an acura dealership and all of the service papers are in the glove box. With just over 89k miles I have purchased ngk iridiums to put in since the originals are still in. Will be doing the 105k service soon enough, too.

It needs some TLC though. All of the wheels are curbed, paint is a little worn in places, and the leather needs some Lexol. I will be putting my order in for some menzurna to give the paint some love.

On to the pics. I know I need to remove the dealership sticker and will be removing the plates when I get my plates on. I need to get the windows tinted and I plan on doing stage 2 exhaust.

Filthy under the headrests

6 speed with navi

Put my s2000 counter-sunk knob on. Not sure if/how long I'll leave it on.

Welcome Soda. The TL has some nice mods already on it. Try to get the dealer sticker off the trunk-no need to advertise for them for free!

Most guys will tell you to remove the pinstripping too.

Also, get ready for your big 105,000 tune up.

I was going to do it today, but needed to get the car cleaned inside and out.

Rear seats taken off? It's just dirty under the headrests. I think the original owner lived on a gravel road.

Of the three cars I wanted, this happened to be the closest (45 min drive). There was a 6 speed TSX in the twin cities (6 hr drive) and a 6-6 accord in St Louis, MO (almost 10 hr drive).

yeah I know about having to remove the seats. I used to drive an accord.

I did when I had it 6 years ago. Lowered, intake, and exhaust. Few cosmetics, nothing serious.
