New TL Owner
hello guys, i just bought a 05 TL NBP with 36,000 miles on it. Just curious, my passenger air bag says off by the hazard light. is that normal? also my car shakes alot when i'm in 6th gear going about 65 -70 mph. I'ts not a bad shake but it shakes for a luxury car. curious if anyone else does this?
Pictures to come soon.

Do you mean the passenger air bag indicator is lit without anything on the seat? If so, get the dealership to deal with it. That indicator is supposed to light up if there is something on the seat with a weight of less than 35 lbs (IIRC--check the manual). Have a teen or adult sit on the seat to see if the light goes out.
Your car "shakes" -- is that felt through the steering wheel more than the seat, and does it decrease above 75 mph? If so, it's probably a bad front wheel balance.

The light should be on only if there is someone.something less than 35 pounds on the seat.
As far as the shaking, try putting the car in 5th and see if you still have it. If you do it's probably your tires needing to be balanced.

No- balancing is the process of adding weights around a wheel to ensure it spins properly and without vibration around the axle, while an alignment is used to adjust the suspension of the car to keep the wheels/tires at the proper angles on the ground when driving.

congrats man! notify the dealer of your issues, they should deal with all of them, especially since the car is low miles
good luck- and nice color choice btw

Congrats! Wow the "2 bent rims" story seems like a standard quote from Acura. My pedal and steering wheel also vibrate around 55mph and thats what dealership told me when I took it in.

haha actually im an idiot. i was looking at the "off" sign but it was never lit. i thought it was off but when i started my car it lit so that solved that problem. haha. and don't worry if you work hard you'll eventually get what you want. just gotta be motivated and do your thing. i stopped parting and all that so i can afford this and it was well worth it.

haha learning a new car. Yeah I am getting married in a year or so, and saving for a house. So the car will probably come later. My hope is that the Accord will last me a few years and then I plan on buying an '08 TL-S. We'll see how long I can wait lol.

Dealer would not replace it even though I bought it from them like that. I guess I should have noticed it during the test drive. But I will take it to my mechanic to get a second opinion. Hearing stories over here, it could have been another dealer scam to get more money out of me.
