Smile new tl asm 06

traded 04 tl nbp/ebony/navi for 06 asm/ebony. 04 had 31,657miles. just waxed with mequires nxt paste and spray and the results were superb. i still have zaino products but wanted to try this product to see if it was as easy as zaino. it was. the shine is as good also. no residue. now i know this might upset some good people but i have to say it;no more stress over keeping the black beauty immaculate to keep heads turning. i'd work for hours twice a week or more to get everything just right then take a ride, maybe just to the post office and back and the car would have dust all over it. it just gets frustrating after 2 years. don't get me wrong i'd pop a few michelob lights and a maroon 5 cd or killers cd and enjoy every bit of what i was doing, knowing that there wasn't a sharper looking car in my small town. now about the new asm. it too is beautiful. 35% tint, wing spoiler 18" oem gunmetal wheels on michelins off of the 04. under the halogen spots in the garage theres not a swirl or any mark in the clearcoat ! i love it already! the 06 has the tpms so i took the stems out of the stock wheels and used them on the 18's and rebalanced them. i will sell the wheels and tires this time around i believe! the 06 has a subtle difference in ride, to the better. i think the aspec body kit would top it off! i'm one happy old man!

If you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost to make the switch?

My friend has an '06 with the TPMS - man am I jealous!

My wife's MDX just tells you if the tires are low - but the new TL system is incredible as it gives you the actual PSI.

Good luck with your new car. Great color!!!

I have a 06 ASM and I want to get the A-Spec wheels also. Some call the A-Spec wheel finish "hyperblack"(compare to my slide show of the Motegi's on my old 04). Is that finish close to what you have? Please post the p/n of the wheels you bought and some pics please.

Congrat's on the new TL - nice colour choice (see my sig ). A bud who owns a detailing shop told me to go with this colour as you can get a nice shine out of it, it hides dirt great, and swirls are hardly noticable unless you really screw up. BTW - I used NXT liquid on my last car and it looked just as good a zaino with less work IMHO :puts on nomex suit: !!!!!!
