Whats up everyone. Let me start off by saying this is a kick ass site tons of info here. I've been checking Acurazine out for a bit and created an account about a week ago, this is the first time I've been able to introduce/post though (trouble logging in). I've owned a couple of Hondas (Civic/Accord) in the past and want to step it up now and purchase a 2008 TL Type S by the end of this month. I've learned a lot on here from old threads (buying tips, what people are paying, etc...). My wife and I originally wanted to get a 08' TL Type S but thought it (38K MSRP) was a little out of our price range so we thought about getting the new 08 Accord EX-L V6 (MSRP about 33K, not including ttl), but I found when doing my research that I could end up paying about the same for a 08' TL type S (Honda dealers I've dealt with do not want to deal on the the brand new Accords, I hear some people are paying above MSRP for one since they are all new). I figured for a little more $ get the (in my opinion) better car, no brainer. So I hope to be the proud owner of a new 08' TL S in the next 20 days or so. I'll keep you posted and any advise or help on getting the new ride would be much appreciated. Oh yah, I do plan on upgrading the suspension wheels and tires for starters.
I am from Socal... and last week I purchased a 2007 Acura TL Type-S. Since the 2007 and 2008 were very similiar, it did not matter to me.
BTW, start your 2008 Type-S pricing at $35,564 and work your way down from there...
South Coast Acura is the only OC dealer I know who still have the 07's in stock.
