New Idea... or impossible?

Hey guys, I hope I don't get flamed here... but I was thinking that it could be a cool idea if there was a way to cut out the ACURA on the front bumper, and fill it with a lit up letters (optional colors), so that when looking at it, it spells ACURA in lit up lights...

I was thinking that'd be pretty slick... just no idea how/who could do it lol. Just an idea.

EL tape will work or you could go all out and make a lightbox with some cathode tubes in it. You could cut those letters out very carefully with a dremel. The dremel is easier with straight box letters but you will have to carefully round those letters and take your time, steady hand with no room for error with your expensive bumper. Lightly sand then touch-up paint the edges. I wouldn't do it, too risky for me, but it is defintely doable.

That would be a little too ricey for my tastes

BUT, if you wanted to do it, maybe get ahold of some semi-opaque white plastic and mount some wide angle LEDs behind the plastic to kind of back-illuminate

Yea, I think that would be a bit much. Just stick to the sticky letters that don't light up.

Drill tiny holes about 1/8 inch apart at the outlines of the letters, and then use fiber optics in the holes to light up the outlines of the letters.

Ricey gets thrown around too much these days. Yeah, a fart can , 3 ft high whale tail and 64 ft. of neon lights gets you ricey, but after that it leaves it open to individual tastes.

If you like it... do it

I'm not really sure, but remember all those fiber-optic christmas gifts a few years back? I think you could probably get an assembly that uses a bulb to light up a bunch of small fibers.

Nooo, nooooo, noooo!!! Don't go out like that fant0m! Let one of those other guys who loves the idea make an Acura Cab outta their car! Hahahahaha! You gonna put yourself on display and become "Rice-A-Roni" for what? Acura ain't paying you! No man, that'll take all of the smoothness out of your look if you do that! What's gonna be next? Signs magnetized to your door and what not?

Hell no! Pimping ain't easy, but you about to make it even harder if you go out like that! I told you I got your back dawg!!! N-O!!!!
