new guy with a TL
Well, my name is Tyler and I am 18. I got this car as a birthday/graduation gift from my dad, it just took me 2 months to decide what i wanted. I finally decided on the TL and couldnt be happier. I have had a 2006 black/ebony auto Acura TL with navigation for about a week, and today got the aspec body kit put on. Eventually I would like to get 19inch ronjon devotions, but that wont come for a while. This is my 3rd car, first being a 2002 Pontiac Firebird and second being a 2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6. I know i am an extremely fortunate kid and i respect what i have. Im looking forward to learning more about this great car and browsing around this board... Ill post pictures of it tomorrow.

Well, I got the firebird first and then traded it in when we saw the trans am at the dealership when taking the firebird in for something. Had the trans am for 1 1/2 years, and yes i did wreck it really bad once as in 3 360s then hitting a curb backwards goin like 40(this was when i first got the car, and showing off for girls in the rain/ice, i was an idiot haha) then traded it in for the TL. The Tl is the complete opposite of the Trans Am and i love it...
Congrats on the new car. Im also a new guy with my 04 TL, just picked it up on Monday. How bout being 17 with his fourth car. First 95 ford escort(hand me down from parents), Second 94 honda accord(purchased myself), Third Honda Prelude 5sp(purchased myself, and now 04 TL (Purcahsed myslef).

Welcome to the board!
Now for the serious part. My parents left me by the side of the road when I was first born. I do not know who my parents were. I lived in a refrigerator box, trudged 14 miles in 4 ft. snow, when I was lucky enough to trudge. I put myself through college, during my graduation I had to run in to the crowd to yell my name "You go Joe. That's my son!" Then run back up to collect my diploma. No father and son days, no fishing with dad. Nobody knows the trouble I seen..... Well you get the picture.
Now would be the time that someone, like your dad, could adopt another child, and perhaps take me under his wing, we could fish, and I would draw him pictures to put on his refrigerator, and then, perhaps, he could buy me a small gift, to show his appreciation for me being me. Like a, ummmm, let's say...a Porsche?? Just a thought.

Welcome Tyler. Enjoy the car, and be careful. Lots of good info on Acurazine.
