The New Guy

Just wanted to say a quick hello as I just ordered my Black/Black on Saturday. It will be about 3 wk. til I pick it up due to some travel I have planned. Traded in my 03 RSX. Again, just wanted to say hello. I have tons of questions, but will do a search prior to posting anything redundant.

Budman, I see in your sig. you are from Atl. That is kinda ironc as I've been a diehard Atlanta Falcons fan since the days of Mr. Sanders. Do you know how tough it is being a Falcons fan and living in Philadelphia. Feel my pain?

Ouch!! an admitted Falcons fan AND you live in Philly?? Double Whammy!!! :smackhead j/k

Sorry - had to jab ya, try being a diehard Packers fan and living in Atlanta. I have to hear about ''the game'' every time we talk football at the office. (you know, where Falcons came to the Frozen Tundra and stole Pack's thunder)

I can relate. Although I'm no Falcons fan, I am a Chicago Bears fan (sorry Berzerker) since the days of the Super Bowl Shuffle and that's tough enough to admit these days. Hard not to get caught up in the Vick Show...

Berzerker, where did you get your ride? Carland, Ed Voyles or Nalley?

Hey Budman - True, the Vick show is very impressive. I do like to watch that kid, quite amazing.

I got my car at Carland - about a month and a half ago. Salesman was Matt Kirby, good guy. Although he didn't give me the deal I could have got at another dealer, he did throw in a lip spoiler and 35% tinting job for 33k. Main reason he wasn't going to budge was because of what he heard my wife say about the TL. We had driven a demo Accord from Honda Carland into the Acura Carland to let her compare the TL to the new Accord. Once she sat in the TL it was no contest - and she verbalized that fact right in front of the salesman!! :smackhead :smackhead :smackhead so he wasn't going to budge on my price. I didn't mind too much, as it's easier for me to drive to Carland than anywhere else for service, etc :smokin:

Sounds like a deal. I spoke to Hugh, I think, but it's across town and I was able to get a matching deal through Nalley who I'll be servicing with. Was curious if you had the opportunity to deal with Danielle at Nalley.

You know the wife thing ... can't live with them, can't live without them .... and on that thought, can't shoot them, can't take them car shopping, can't let them go to Wal-Mart alone with a credit card or checkbook, can't talk them into seperate vacations.... I could go on...

I went with Quartz to control the heat a bit. So far, so good, but it's not August in Atlanta yet either! Got to enjoy washing cars if you go with NBP, but it's worth it! :smokin:

Hugh Kronitz is their internet sales person at Carland. I didn't go through the internet to set anything up when we went in to compare the Accord to the TL. I did, however, email all the other dealers, including Athens and Macon, and I don't remember Danielle at Nalley. All the other dealers were more than willing to deal, just didn't want to drive to freakin' Macon (or was is Augusta) for a car!!

Yeah...lol...wives... :smackhead
I can't let mine go to the DSW shoe store - sometimes I think I married that Amelda Marcos (sp?) with her 3000 pairs of shoes!! I never knew there was a need for 11 different pairs of black shoes. Now that I'm married, I'm all the wiser!

Yup, that was him. Danielle was a looker, although not the ripest fruit in the bunch. No way I was going to Macon either or Athens for that matter.

Anyway, ditto on the Temple of Shoes. That's why we have seperate closets! :p
